Questions & Answers
The Southland Credit Union logo has been around for a long time, so why change it now?
We conducted research among members and non-members to make sure our branding and messaging were working hard for us. What we found was that while there are many positive elements in our logo, it also needed an update to make it brighter, easier to read, and more contemporary.
Will I need a new debit or credit card?
You will receive new debit or credit cards when your current card expires, or when requesting a replacement card. New accounts will receive debit or credit cards with the new logo.
Does the new logo indicate that Southland’s charter has changed?
No, there is no change to our current charter. We continue to serve the same areas of Los Angeles County and all of Orange County.
Does the new logo signal a change in Southland’s staff or leadership team?
No, there are no changes to our senior management team, staff, or Board of Directors.
