Online & Mobile Banking Upgrades

We are making some changes in 2017!

Your online experience is about to get a whole lot better. We will be launching a series of upgrades in conjunction with a new bill payer service. As phases are released, you will notice a more intuitive interface that will allow you to navigate quickly and seamlessly through the site while performing tasks more easily.

Our motivation for these upgrades is to improve your online and mobile banking experience. These new upgrades will open up a whole new plethora of options. You will be able to see more account information on your mobile device, mobile statements, mobile checks, Popmoney, easily transfer money between multiple accounts, set up alerts, view full account details, view pending transactions, search for information, and so much more. Self-service activities such as updating user profiles, ordering checks, and changing addresses are also available.

In the coming months, you will continue to see new products and services available to enhance your overall online experience!

popmoney Personal Payment Service

Sending and receiving money with Popmoney® personal payment service is as easy as sending an e-mail or text message. Use your Southland account to pay or receive money from just about anyone, with no need to write a check, exchange account numbers or carry cash.

It's similar to PayPal, where you can send money using just an e-mail address. But Popmoney has the added convenience of being right inside your password-protected online Southland account.

It's simple to get started. Log in to online banking or open your mobile banking app and go to the "Popmoney" tab.

Sending Popmoney is as easy as 1-2-3!

1.     Enter the recipient's name, e-mail address and/or cellphone number, and the dollar amount. You don’t need to ask them for their routing or account number.

2.     An e-mail or text message automatically notifies the recipient.

3.     The recipient then securely enters their account information.

That's it— the money is then deposited directly into the account that the recipient chooses! Requesting money is just as easy. Simply click on the request money tab and follow the same steps.

Pay your bills free whenever you choose—on payday, near the due date, or even when you’re out of town. Simply choose the date you want your payment to be sent. Set up recurring payments and your regular payments can be paid automatically. You can even schedule bills to pay in advance—which is a great convenience when you travel. With online bill pay you’ll also be able to track your payment history and see who you’ve paid, the date paid, and the amount. Log onto ePay and sign up today. Once you’ve tried it, you’ll never go back to writing checks again.

Southland eStatements—FREE Online Statements

An eStatement is an electronic copy of your personal account statement you view online in a safe and secure environment. We use the latest encryption technology to ensure the safety of your personal information. So, you can rest assured that you are protected.

Southland eStatements are easy and convenient. First you’ll receive an email notification that your eStatement is available to view. Then, simply sign on to eBranch using your password and retrieve and view your statement.

Southland eTransfers—Online Account to Account Transfers

Want a more convenient and secure way to transfer money into your accounts without driving to a branch or sending paperwork through the mail? With eTransfers you can electronically withdraw funds from accounts at other Financial Institutions, and transfer them online to your Southland account for FREE. 

Features

  • Make transfers on your time schedule, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week
  • Once established, you can transfer money to and from your Southland accounts anywhere, anytime
  • Free to transfer funds to your Southland accounts
  • Incoming, to Southland, transfer amounts up to $9,999 (per day)
  • Outgoing, from Southland, transfer amounts up to $5,000 (per day)
  • Deposits credited between 48 to 72 hours
  • Fee may apply for outgoing transfers

Easily Transfer Your Money

  • Log on to your Southland eBranch account
  • Select the eTransfers option and set up your accounts from other financial institutions
  • Once we receive your account information, Southland will send two small deposits to your other account. This is a fraud prevention process and verifies your account.
  • After you verify the amount of each deposit, these accounts will then be available for transfers.

For your protection, Southland will verify your accounts. Once established, you can transfer money to and from your Southland accounts anywhere, anytime!
